Rain Jacket in a Bag...

If anyone's interested... I recently picked up a great light-weight rain jacket/wind-breaker at Gander Mountain that comes with its own little bag for travel/hiking purposes. It was on sale for $30 and definitely worth it.

That rain jacket will be perfect for the air plane ride to Belize. I usually dress in layers for this flight: first a tee shirt, followed by my long-sleeved shirt, then a light-weight fleece, and finally a rain/windbreaker jacket like the one you describe. That's enough to keep me reasonably warm on an early March morning. As we approach warmer temperatures, I start to discard clothing. That packable rain jacket goes first, and it fits nicely into my back pack. By the time we get to Belize City, I'm in a tee shirt and ready to zip off my pant bottoms.
