This book rocks! In addition to its great descriptions, it has crisp, colored photographs that illustrate every topic. It really gives the reader a sense of Belize--its society and what the environment looks like. Check it out! :)

I have the old version that I got back in 1997 just before my first (1998) trip to Belize. I too thought it was a great resource.
I actually got my dad a bunch of stuff for Christmas that dealt with the trip, and I got him this book. I looked through it a little before I wrapped it and I like it a lot, too.
